On Saturday, Ryan and I went to the Flogging Molly (Irish punk band) concert in Baltimore with our fiend Gareth. We had dinner at Houlihan's, which was great in Pittsburgh, but was definitely nothing to brag about in B'more. The Rams Head Live concert venue was awesome. It was the best small venue I've ever seen. There were two bands to open for Flogging Molly, The Mighty Stef and The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, both of which were very interesting for very different reasons. The first band was pretty good, but reminded me a little of some of Marilyn Manson's more subdued songs. The second band was good for the first two songs...but every song that followed was exactly the same. And I've only heard a Flogging Molly CD, so I was prepared but a little surprised at how punk they really were. I'd never experienced moshing before, and was shocked to see it. Luckily we'd chosen a spot on the second floor so we were safely away from the chaos. If I'd been down on the floor though, I don't think I would've stayed there. Thanks Gareth, for inviting us to a fun evening. I'm sorry I was so warn out and boring by the end of the night. It was the longest I'd stayed up since December :-) We had a great time!

Glad you had a good time. But there is a band that I need Ryan to see with me. End of April. Yo. (I am helping you get your nursery built right quick...)
Yeah, he told me about it - I've been planning my events around it. And thanks for your help on the nursery, by the way, it wouldn't be possible without you! Wait til you see what he did since last weekend :-p
