Goin' to Chicago...

I'm so excited to be heading out in a few minutes to go to Chicago for the weekend!!!

Not only is my 27th birthday tomorrow, but my favorite band, Great Big Sea, is playing tomorrow night and we found all kinds of exciting activities happening in Chicago on Saturday. The dyeing of the river at 10:45am, followed by the famous Chicago St. Paddy's Day Parade should both be a blast. We researched some Irish pubs, thinking they'd have a few but other bars would be doing stuff for the holiday too...who knew, Chicago has tons and tons of Irish bars, all doing traditional Irish breakfasts, and have live Irish Music all day...8am to 3am. Whew! It'll be a fun weekend!
