Can I do it?

I've been trying for about two weeks to incorporate a low-carb (approx. 30 carbs on avg), but not too strict diet into our new fitness regimen. So on Tuesday I finally got motivated enough to just do it. I was skeptical at first, but I feel great and I'm not even remotely hungry at meal times, which is rather unusual for me. Is it even possible that it can work that quickly?

On Tuesday I did well, eating only low-carb without cheating, but I was starving at dinner and again when I got home from class at about 10:40pm which is never a good thing.

Yesterday, I didn't think about breakfast, so skipped my breakfast bar. At lunch we went out to celebrate a co-workers birthday and I had a burger and broccoli, no bun. I never thought about dinner, and never ate again yesterday, preoccupied by my podcast assignments.

Today I was thinking at about 10:45am, that I hadn't eaten since noon yesterday. I realized that wasn't a good thing, so I had an early lunch of tuna and veggies, and for dinner I had a small piece of chicken and a hard-boiled egg.

I'm amazed that I haven't been hungry since Tuesday and I have noticeably more energy. I haven't even had a desire to have sweets or carbs yet. I'm really motivated to lose weight and get fit - hopefully I can keep it up!

I have no idea how much I weigh, I don't go there, but I know it is too much. So, I'll let you know if my clothes start to fit better or if I suddenly forget to eat for a day or two. We'll see if I can keep it up through the weekend...
